It is simple. I've wanted to return home in some way. I'd like to be able to give Guyana and Guyanese something they want. All of my interviews with women in various places have indicated that women want some form of adult education.
The interviews in Lethem revealed the same need. The education goes beyond the need to improve literacy. It involves social issues and physical issues related to being female and being a woman in our society.
I plan to start a educational program designed to suit women's needs.
The Guyanese committee assigned to deal with the task of land distribution plan to visit Lethem for a few days starting on Friday and I'm joining them. It's that simple.
